This boxed set could have been a lot better with simple editing for grammar and continuity. The first book was good; it made me think I would be leaving a 5 - Star review. Unfortunately, as the books continued, the grammar and story progression declined.The most glaring issues became evident at the end of the second book. By the fourth book, there are multiple errors on every page. A lot of the errors are simply using the wrong word (e.g. "though" in place of "threw", set/sat misuse, missing prepositions and articles, possible ESL errors but the author was born and raised in Pittsburgh according to their bio). The additional issues surround the story flow and character development. In Book 4 (Robin's & Adam's story), Adam seems to repeat himself, back - track, and overemphasize bits while Robin seems wishy - washy at best. I have yet to read Book 5 but, the other 4 books brought this down to a 3 - Star Review. With A LOT of editing and review, this could be a great set. The basis for great characters and a page - turning read is there.*Updated to a 2 - Star review because the errors & inconsistencies keep getting progressively worse as I muddle through the 5th book.

First, I don't give spoilers. I really enjoyed this box set. The characters are well developed and have depth. For me, without well developed characters, no matter how good the storyline is, I get bored. To me the characters make up the backbone of a great story. I cannot waot to read more by this author.
This story has the beach, a second chance at love, humor and a ghost-playing matchmaker! Such a cute addition to the Barefoot Bay Stories. Shay and Colin had a history and when they meet again on Barefoot Bay they realize their feelings are just as strong as ever. With the help of Shay’s grandmother and a sweet ghost they find a second chance at love.

This is a great start to this series. I have already purchased the next set. Unfortunately this series must be read in order and you will have to read all to get the conclusion. Each book by itself does come to a conclusion with the mates but the story continues in the next book.
When I first began reading & realized the topic, I wasn't sure I wanted to continue reading but I couldn't stop and am so glad I didn't. This box set is so well written and the incidences are so well explained, they can be applied to daily life. I haven't enjoyed a set of books so much in a long time! A MUST READ!
I like the books except for the fact that the author didn't take the time (or pay the money) for editing. I cannot believe someone who took this much time writing these books wouldn't want them to be correct. It is FULL of wrong words, wrong uses of words, missed words and a total lack of punctuation. I just don't understand this. There's spell check. At least a friend to read them and point out mistakes if you can't afford an editor. All these mistakes stop me dead and disrupt the flow of the story. IT'S REALLY IRRITATING!!!!
There are five books in this box set. Each one continues the storyline from book one. Each book is pretty much a copy of the previous, just the couples names change. Alpha males, stubborn women, hot sex, and enemies out to destroy them. Book five is full of grammatical errors and misspellings.
This is a good series. In Tiger Time Ty is the alpha of the Alaskan Tigers He waits for Tabitha to mature before approaching her about her heritage. She was left in the dark by her family and is in for a surprise. This story introduces you to most of the characters in the series. It is a nice intro to the series. In The Tiger's Heart Raja is the Lieutenant of the Alaskan Tigers and protects Ty and the rest of the pack. Bethany is kidnapped by a rogue tiger on her vacation to Alaska and is rescued by Raja. They have an intriguing story. In Tigress For Two Kallie just wants to be left alone after a horrific past. She is in for a surprise when a bear shifter awakens feelings she thought she had suppressed long ago. Then Tabor's twin shows up. ... In Night With A Tiger Robin is rescued by Adam, who is the head guard for Tabitha. Robin was in a abusive marriage before having to flee for her live by the men who murdered her husband. She is unsure of her future with the Tigers and Adam until a unique situation occurred. In Trusting A Tiger Harmony is rescued by the Alaskan Tigers after becoming ensnared in a bear trap. She refuses to shift back to her human form, not knowing who she can trust. Felix and Harmony are mates, but she doesn't want to join the Alaskan Tigers because of her past. This causes turmoil within the pack. I felt for Harmony but thought her character somewhat trying for a while in the story. This was a good story and worth reading. I am waiting for the 2nd box set to come out!
